Halo's Description

Updated photos coming soon -With every month that goes by, this boy becomes more and more impressive.
ACAU Halo was up within a few minutes taking in milk and trying out his new legs. His legs look straight and his fiber is very soft. He has great coverage, consistent color, crimp, and brightness in his fleece.
His sire is, LZD Kintara, a full Peruvian. Kintara's sire is, Show Me The Money from the Peruvian Royal Fawn line and Kintara's dam is Snowmass Ayacucha from the Peruvian Drambuie G220 line.

ACAU Halo looks like he is going to develop into a beautiful boy and is an improvement over his dam. He is a little spit-fire and is always getting in trouble with the dams. He shows plenty of crimp. The legs, tail, and neck appear to be strong, tight, swirls of crimp. His blanket a little looser at the ends from the dust baths but he has crimp throughout. His density looks to be about average. His color has a brightness to it that is beautiful and he is very soft. His top knot seems to be forming into the famous Kintara and Show Me the Money type of head. He has a nice looking V shape around his face now.

Linage Record

DAM: AB Kachina

True Black, 834447, Full Chilean

Kachina is a great foundation female. She has solid potential for producing black and greys. Her blanket is a solid black and has a wonderful handle, yet she has a large silver/grey patch on her right rear leg. Kachina's ancestors are: One True Black, three light silver greys, two medium silver greys, two dark silver greys, one medium rose grey, and one medium brown. Her genetic background boasting such greats as SA Dynasty and SA Karrinton.
Kachina is one of the most devoted, attentive and protective alpaca mom's and produces an abundant amout of milk, enough to support a .5 - .75 pound per day growth in her cria.

SIRE: LZD Kintara

Medium Fawn, 839308, Full Peruvian

Kintara is throwing offspring darker than himself.  Kintara bred each female in on "sitting" and is assertive yet very much a gentleman. His conformation is very correct & he has incredible fiber coverage in that gorgeous medium fawn fading to light fawn color, with low frequency/medium amplitude crimp, a good staple, and exceptional density! His yearling fleece weighed in at 8.1 pounds with over half of the weight in his blanket, his two year old fleece at 8.5 pounds and his 2006 fleece weighed at 8.8 pounds! Kintara is a stunning replica of his famous sire "Show Me The Money"
