In our beginning, we boarded our
alpacas for a year and a half before we bought our own ranch home. You too can begin by boarding at reasonable fees. We offer boarding
on 9 acres at a very reasonable fee. Your alpaca(s) will be able to receive exercise
while grazing in the large pastures. Shelters are available for the alpaca(s)
if the weather turns to rain, snow, or if the sun is to hot. Health care with
a very experienced came lid vet is available. We are very fortunate to be only
20 minutes from the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Fort Collins. We have
one alpaca guardian, Sherwood, a great Pyramese who has the run of the whole place and who is very dedicated to his job.
Last test
for PCR/BVD done on 02/15/2010, test results were negative.
Pricing and Terms
Because there are different levels
of desired owner involvement, we offer several boarding options to fit the owner’s needs.
Options include daily care,
feeding, and free choice minerals.
*We have basic boarding with routine
maintenance performed by owner for $3.00 a day for each alpaca. (**)(***)
*Basic boarding + routine maintenance
(toenail/teeth trimming, yearly worming) provided by us for $3.50 a day for each alpaca. (**)(***)
*In addition, we will provide full
care and/or high maintenance care, in which, fees will have to be determined and subject to approval. (**)(***)
We also offer Quarentine services
for your animals with our newly built quarentine area. Seperated by ten feet apart fencing to prevent air born diseases. Alpacas
boarded at quarentine area can see other alpacas easily for their own peace of mind. Prices for Quarentine area is $3.50 a
day for each adult alpaca and $1.00 a day for cria underfoot.
**Cria's underfoot free until
6 months of age. Cria's at 6 months of age until one year of age are charged $1.00 a day each. At one year of age, cria's
are charged adult prices.

that require fees from a veterinarian, hospital, or shearing is solely the owners responsibility.
