entirely new incentive program for our customers who buy one of our alpacas for $5000. or more from this website! We want
our customers to have an enjoyable experience when purchasing from us.
When you purchase an alpaca
that is $5000. or more from us, you get...
- Free ground transportation
to anywhere in the United States subjected to transporters schedule and not including any extra costs incurred including,
ferry cost, etc....
- Transfer Costs with
the Alpaca Registery Inc. for animals purchased from Alpaca Clan Acres, USA only. Not included for crias born to females
during financing.
- Free boarding for
six months, unless the animal purchased is a female where as Alpaca Clan Acres, USA is keeping the cria, then the female will
have ten months free boarding, until the cria is weaned.
- Veternarian costs
for ultrasounds, overall well-being, and transport exam.
- And, of course, on
going customer support. We would love to be your mentor.
FINANCING
TERMS:
For Alpaca purchases that are more than
$2500., at least, 25% down with a 4.50% interest rate for 4 years. Make us an offer on our sales lists!
BOARDING AND TRANSPORTATION:
Cria purchases have free boarding until cria is weaned from dam. Approximately 10 months from birth.
For
Alpaca purchases and/or herdsire services...
Alpaca purchases and/or herdsire services have free boarding for up to
6 months or females weaning crias, 10 months. Thereafter, agistment will be charged at $4.00 per day for weaned alpacas
and $2.00 for cria underfoot. Other conditions apply.
It is the buyers sole responsibility to provide transportation
for alpacas to/or from ALPACA CLAN ACRES,USA, for herdsire services.
GUARANTEES
AND WARRANTIES:
For purchase of female alpacas...
Alpaca
females that are being sold as pregnant females prior to delivery to buyer. The Seller agrees to obtain an ultrasound test
from a licensed veterinarian indicating pregnancy. The results of the test shall be deemed conclusive proof that the alpaca
is, in fact, pregnant.
The live birth guarantee is deemed to be satisfied if the cria survives 48 hours after birth.
Certain exceptions and conditions apply.
*For Herdsire services...
Alpaca females are to be returned to owners as
pregnant females. The Seller agrees to obtain an ultrasound test from a licensed veterinarian indicating pregnancy. The results
of the test shall be deemed conclusive proof that the alpaca is, in fact, pregnant. Other exceptions and conditions apply.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
*Not included with coupons, or other promotions,
whereas the Dam Owners provide evidence of pregnancy by means of an ultrasound.

Herdsire Policy
Policy and Advantages of a Farm Breeding with one of Our Herdsires
On Farm Breedings: The dam owner transports the female and her cria (if she has one) to Alpaca
Clan Acres, USA. The dam and cria remain at the ranch for 60-90 days. This breeding service includes 1) agistment up to 90
days, 2) routine on farm care and ultrasounds by licensed veterinarian.
During breeding, cria is seperated into
a smaller pen that is close to breeding pen so that the cria remains safe and the dam can see her cria.
The
dam is pen bred on the second day of her arrival then again three days after her first breeding. After these two
breedings then the dam is introduced once a week until she spits. After the female spits, we stop the breeding and
the dam is again introduced to the male twice more during a two week period to observe if she continues to spit.
*Alpaca Clan Acres, USA obtains a veterinarian that can perform ultrasounds to confirm the breeding.
The requirements for a successful farm breeding are:
The female and cria must be examined
by a licensed vet prior to departing from the owners farm. The test must certify that the animals are free of parasites, are
BVD negative, and are healthy enough to travel.
The dam to be rebred must also be reproductively
sound and able to rebreed.
A teaser male can be used to test the female's receptivity prior to departure from the owners farm
to see if she is going to be receptive.
Best success is achieved if a rebreed after delivery occurs within
21 days.
The respective responsibilities of the on farm breeding parties are:
Dam owner
must complete the service agreement and drive by checklist prior to arrival at Alpaca Clan Acres, USA.
The
dam owner is to provide all health records for dam and cria.
Alpaca Clan Acres, USA will agist the
dam and cria along with the rest of the herd. Agsitment, routine health care, vaccinations, and ultrasounds are included free.
The stud owner makes a Herdsire available for repeat breedings if necessary at no additional charge.
Live birth guarantee.
