A room full of alpaca fiber encouraged me to start creating something out of all our fiber. I decided
to try felting. And of course being me, I decided to try a difficult project, hats! Watch how we learn! These are the 2011
hats that I have decided to stay focused on to perfect and we are calling them the, "Rocky Mountain Paca Hats" (Patent
is Pending). The hat's are only getting better!

This hat sold to Donna Miller of Colorado Dreams Alpacas. She sent
me the fleece of her favorite female to make it. The female had a very consistant color to her that I found quite unique.
I had fun making this hat.

A black hat made from Huacaya's fleece. I am very pleased on how this hat turned out. The braided band
is leather that I made myself. Real Navajo handmade arrowheads on each side of the band and a silver and turquoise pendant
of a buffalo. The rest is leather lace. This hat is for sale and the size is large at 7 1/2". Buy now with Pay Pal.
